In 2009, the visionary Late Shri. Balasaheb Mhatre, founder of Dnyan Prasarak Shikshan Sanstha, established The Education Campus at Badlapur. Driven by a passion to expand access to higher and technical education in rural areas of Thane District, he laid the groundwork for this thriving educational hub.
His dedication is evident. In 2007, he laid the foundation stone for the 1.5-acre Hendre Pada Campus. Two years later, in 2009, he established the sprawling 10.5-acre Kanhor Campus, which now houses the prestigious Diploma Engineering College, Balasaheb Mhatre Polytechnic. This year marks a significant milestone – 15 years of providing quality education in the burgeoning city of Badlapur.

Founded on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Dnyan Prasarak Shikshan Sanstha was established by Late Principal Balasaheb Mhatre. Over the years, we’ve grown significantly, offering a diverse range of educational opportunities. Today, we proudly offer ,5 Degree Colleges,1 Law College, 1 Polytechnic, 8 Junior Colleges, 15 Secondary Schools, 14 Primary Schools, 14 Pre-Primary Schools, 2 Study Centres of National Institute of Open Schooling, 9 Computer Education Centres.
